Can I clean and restore all the items in my home that have been affected by mold?

Answered By Maye Teasdale, Editor

Yes. Things that have been affected by molds can be cleaned and restored in many ways. The affected things can be cleaned and restored by simply using detergent soaps. Detergent soaps are only applicable to those things that are mildly affected by mold.

There are certain chemicals that are used to clean things that are affected. Most of these chemicals not only clean but it disinfects and kills molds or fungi. When the molds are already killed, restoring items will be much easier because the attacks of molds are already stopped.
