Bleach kills molds. It is an effective chemical for killing molds. Bleach is an acid and acid are effective killer of microorganism. Acids are known to be harsh on skin as it is to the molds.

Bleach contains chlorine, chemical element that is used in chlorination, a process of killing microorganism in water supply. Chlorine is known to be a good choice for disinfecting and killing molds.

There are levels of acidy for chlorine. There is mild chlorine that is used in water. The strong chlorine is the one best for killing molds.
